My name is Emily and I am the face behind Dachshund Obsession! Together with my partner Joel, we live on the lovely Mid North Coast of NSW with our 10 miniature dachshunds, or as they are known to us, the kids. Here at Dachshund Obsession, my focus is on selecting beautiful pairings based on parental conformation and temperament to bring stunning pups into the world thus continuing the improvement of the dachshund breed. Of course a big part of why I do what I do is to see our little four legged bundles of joy be welcomed into the lives and homes of those wanting that best friend, and see the adventures they take together. We have always been animal lovers and our dogs are the most spoilt dogs on the planet, that’s a guarantee, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
My goal is to continue the spread of positivity and ethical breeding of pups focusing on the health and well-being of our fluffy bubs and to spread awareness about the amazing dog that is the dachshund. I breed miniature dachshunds focusing on quality coat, conformation and temperament. Our dogs are our babies hence why we call them “the kids” and we want others to experience that joy they can bring to life. We could not imagine life without our four legged kids and are truly blessed every day getting to snuggle with them and feel the abundance of love they have to offer.
We breed all coat types (long, smooth, wire and silky wire hair) miniature dachshunds, with features such as dapples and creams. Our puppies are strictly pet home only.
